Frequently Asked Questions

What is an X-Pert for the X-Bot Games?
+

X-Perts are experienced AI practitioners who help shape and judge the X-Bot Games.

For Round Xeta, X-Perts help stress-test challenge briefs and judging criteria, support the live event, and provide feedback to entrants.

What is Round Xeta?
+

Round Xeta is the beta edition of the X-Bot Games, running 17-18 April 2026, capped at 50 entrants.

It exists to test the challenges, judging, submission flow, livestream format, and community experience before the global launch.

How much time does being an X-Pert require (and what will I do)?
+

Plan for around 5-6 hours total from February to end of April 2026. This typically includes:

*  Brief + judging criteria alignment: ~2 hours

*  Entrant feedback: ~15 minutes per entrant (max 5 entrants per challenge) = ~75 minutes

*  Livestream participation: ~60 minutes on-air across 17-18 April

*  Post-event judging alignment: ~60 minutes (scoring template provided)

What’s the difference between Round Xeta and the September X-Bot Games?
+

Round Xeta is the beta: capped entrants, learning-focused, and designed for feedback.

September is the global launch: larger scale, public rankings, and a full competitive format.

Do I have to be on camera as an X-Pert?
+

No. You can participate without showing your face.

Can I still be an X-Pert if I miss Xeta?
+

Yes. If Xeta dates don’t work, complete the application and tick “future events”.

Can I compete if I am an X-Pert?
+

Yes - but not in any X-Challenge you are an X-Pert for.

If you want to compete, you can, just in an X-Challenge where you have no judging, scoring, feedback, or inside access.
